Performance Marketing Executive

As Performance Marketing Executive you will use data-driven commercial strategies to reach the right audiences, at the right time on the right channel. You will work with the Head of Marketing Services to ensure our clients find their new customers in the most effective way, meet their business KPIs, and respond to marketing insights.

You will work seamlessly with our agency partners, making sure that we reach the best outcomes possible, together. Reporting and insight are essential to this role, therefore you must be confident presenting your data-led solutions and then back the insights gleaned from your campaigns, testing and optimisation.

Responsibilities

  • Support with the planning and implementation of paid media campaigns to achieve our client's goals using tools such as our client's own First Party Data, Market Insight and tools such as SEMRush

  • Identify and build audiences for our client’s campaigns based on the insight gathered through discovery or briefing sessions

  • To lead all data-driven advertising, such as social activation campaigns, remarketing, and brand advertising. Executing activity yourself and working with our agency partners, where relevant to brief, refine and improve activity

  • Campaigns should be split-tested using creative, copy and audiences to ensure that we identify the optimal mix to achieve the client's KPIs

  • Create briefs for creative assets, landing pages and customer journeys for the wider internal teams in line with approved campaigns and budgets

  • Write copy for adverts and headlines

  • Audit existing tracking set-ups and configure GTM or brief in required updates to the data layer to ensure the tracking is in place for effect to achieve our client's KPIs

  • Test the implementation of a tracking data layer against a brief

  • Set up Looker studio reports to report on specific campaigns and clients’ overall marketing performance.

  • Report on campaign performance to our clients on a regular basis, using tools such as Google Analytics & Looker Studio to provide insights and learnings.

  • Interrogate performance reports and analysis to understand the key drivers of performance, develop action plans to help drive performance

  • Address and escalate campaign performance issues where necessary

  • Monitor budget allocations, ensuring we stay within budget and make recommendations to help drive performance

  • Stay up to date with changes and opportunities across key media platforms

  • Where possible for long-term clients Implement the testing roadmap to deliver best practices across channels

Key Channels we expect you to be proficient in:

  • Meta Suite of platforms

  • Google Suite of platforms

  • TikTok

  • Pinterest

Other responsibilities:

  • To be part an active part of the team that develops our own organic social strategy. Agreeing on KPIs with the company directors, creating a monthly calendar of content to appeal to new recruits and clients, and tying activity into physical events and business KPIs.

Skills and qualifications

  • Hands-on experience creating digital marketing campaigns, with use of Facebook Ads Manager and Google ads.

  • Budget management

  • Open-minded to new developments and platforms

  • Experience with analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio

  • Proven experience in working in line with KPIs, such as traffic, CPC, CPA, ROAS and conversion rate.

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics and present results, liaising with other leads to consider solutions.

  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise across multiple projects

  • Able to meet tight deadlines, coordinate workload and remain calm under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal. You should have the ability to take the complex and distil it to our clients in layman’s terms that they can follow.
