14-18 NOW is a unique 5-year programme of extraordinary arts experiences connecting people with the First World War. effect is proud to have been involved in many aspects of this groundbreaking project. We have worked with 14-18 NOW, their marketing agency the Cogency and creative partners The Unloved on the main 14-18 NOW website and many microsites for individual commissions.

The main 14-18 NOW site supports a wide range of commissions, from physical installations to digital interactive experiences. As such there is a great degree of flexibility in how content can be curated and presented. We adopted a data-driven approach to the latest site refresh. Decisions were based on clear insight and tracking metrics to ensure we provided an optimum experience for visitors.

Throughout the programme, key moments and commission launches have resulted in the site receiving millions of visits. Our technical expertise and support of these online platforms has provided 14-18 NOW with the tools to maximise media opportunities and ensured the programme reaches the largest audience possible. To date 30 million people have experienced the commissions.
